Feed 'em Healthy

Since the day I started cooking for one in my multi-roommate house, I've been "pressured" to start a food blog for my one-chick cooking show. Well, here it is.

The fact that I love food is an understatement, I love food lots, and I love lots of it. Unfortunately, food loves me no longer.

Since the chip-truck incident of summer 2005, I've had issues with the most unhealthy foods. Somehow my stomach managed to O.D. on fat and began rejecting any high-fat foods, subjecting me to a forced summer diet of fruit, veggies, yogurt, cereal, and quitting coffee. This was far from pleasant as I'd never restricted myself from eating. I slowly re-introduced every food gradually, and all was well until the summer of 2007 : mind blowing pain as food crash lands in my stomach. Here's the documentation of a long-term switch to an all-healthy (mostly) eating lifestyle. I figure there's no time like the present to start food experimenting and finally see a doctor. ugh.

My quest for delicious and nutritious food is ongoing and peppered with slips into sinfully delirious food heaven. Must this Granola-raised turned burger aficionado return to her roots? Will my tasty travels ever return or will I be banned to the deep hell hall of a restrictive diet?
